Stories say a female hitchhiker appears on this road on stormy nights, asking those passing by to drive her home. Legend says that when the driver arrives at the address she gives, she vanishes. When the driver goes to the door to ask about the girl, the homeowner replies telling them their daughter was killed in a car accident and that it happens frequently.
