Stories say this museum is haunted by the spirit of a former Speaker of the House, John Wilson. His ghost has been spotted a number of times, wearing a period frock-coat. Some have claimed to feel a cold hand on their shoulder, or cold spots. Some believe the ghost may also be that of another politician, Joseph Brooks.
