My husband and I are celebrating our anniversary this weekend. We decided since we got married on Halloween and we love all things horror/spooky, that we would take a road trip and see some reportedly haunted areas. Opossum walk cemetery was on the list. We got there and it seems to be a rather old cemetery with most of the graves being marked with only stones. If you walk around you can see that only half of the cemetery is cleared and cared for, which was a bit upsetting. There was no gates and there was no trail around the cemetery. We even went as far as to walk the fence line through brambles to try and find some gates, thinking maybe they were at the back and just grown over... Nope. It was a really cool little cemetery, if you like things like that, but certainly not worth going out of your way to visit, unless you are into geocaching. We found one there.
